Daniel's story has been patiently waiting for me in my AOL mail box and unfortunately, I discovered that the donations needed to be turned by today for the Rescue Center to stay open. I am absolutely heartsick over this!! Please PRAY/send GOOD THOUGHTS for this WONDERFUL Rescue Center to remain OPEN. Thnx for all you do, you guys are the BEST!!

as of nov. 10th, they raised $30,000. they will put out an update on facebook this afternoon. i'm sure they've already met their goal. very smart to have daniel create artwork and sell it on ebay.

Noted, and since today is the 15th, I hope they get the money they need for the new building...As for Daniel, what an adorable cute littel guy, and he's abviouly a great saleman as well...very happy to hear that he is going to be adopted, and I hope every animal in every shelter will be as lucky as Daniel is...God Bless all the Animals, and the people who do so much to help them...

I just went to the Facebook page for this center, and they HAVE received enough donations to make the $40,000 down payment PLUS more, thanks to Daniel, who has an adoption pending!! This place is very near to me and I never knew it existed. Thanks, Barb!!

BarbCat, that was an awesome story and I noted as well. The cat reminds me of a white rabbit I used to have names two toes cause he was born with only two toes on one foot and was a family pet for years. Loved to sit in your lap, followed you everywhere and even love to ride in the car.

At this time, we are urgently trying to raise funds (capital campaign) for a new facility; we must raise $40,000 by November 15th and an additional $70,000 by December 31st to secure the desired property.

Daniel is challenging animal lovers throughout the world to assist by donating at least $1 for each of his toes.

November 8th: We have satisfied our Phase One fundraising goal! Phase One will cover the down payment and closing cost of the new property! Phase Two is going on now and will cover the cost of moving, new equipment & supply purchase, and renovation. Please continue to be inspired and donate on behalf Daniel and all of the animals in our care!

November 30th: We have received $7,745.74 towards our Phase Two goal of $70,000! Phase Two deadline is December 31st!
