Nice that they enjoy each other's company. All 4 of my cats loved my dog and used to follow him as he patroled the farm. Since he passed away, they now have taken over his job : )

I took in 3 feral kittens this past summer and found a home for the mom and one kitten. i kept the other two. Or should I say, they kept me?
The kitten who was adopted by a friend of mine also has 3 other cats and four dogs, one of whom is a mastiff named Clementine.. The new kitten is best friends with and sleeps on Clementine's head. The two of them are inseparable.

TY Barb, the idiots at the Reid Park Zoo here in Tucson need to see this. They are using differant species as an excuse to separate our elephants Connie and Shaba, Connie is Asian and Shaba African. 30 years they have been devoted to easch other. Connie was a suffering circus animal and Shaba 's parents were killed by poachers in from of her. Barb if you haven't signed my petitio, first one, yet plaese consider doing this. It is on C2. Hugs

(If I type this quietly, maybe my cat and dog won't hear this but... those two must be two of the most beautiful darlings ever!). Sometimes cats and dogs just bond as their characters mesh, sometimes it takes a lot of work - as I found with my new rescue dog and my rescue cat - the former at first wanted to eat the latter - now they sleep together! Utterly wonderful to see so much happiness and love!

Yes, wish humans could learn from our planet's animals!! No negative 'traits' whatsoever - I have a video of a pitbull and small kitten playing and sleeping together and granddaughter is forever asking to watch this video when she's here over weekends - if we could just 'lead by example' future generations will have more respect for life and each other!
