Welcome to Arctic Home. Our goal, in partnership with World Wildlife Fund, is to raise awareness and funds to help create a safe haven for the polar bear--an Arctic refuge.

what a disgusting atempt at greenwa$hing !

really helpful for PolarBears (and all other wildlife on Earth) would be the dismantling of corpoRats like CacaCola

CacaCola -- selling its epitome-of-junk (guaranteed free of any nutritional value and guaranteed harmful to consumers) product in packaging (whether Al-cans or plastic-bottles) which are more valuable than the product and contribute considerably to environmental destruction. Not to mention that they spend more on their mind-poisoning propaganda than on production of their product, steal water, ... .. .. . .. ...

I'm with the Wolf; it is completely illogical that Coca-Cola care about anything apart from their vast profits and global domination with their brand. As Wolf points out billions of gallons of their gunk comes in plastic bottles and where does plastic come from? Oil wells! Where do the oil companies want to start drilling for oil next? The Arctic that's where. Supporting Coca-Cola in this way will only serve to make matters worse; it'll only create the illusion that everything's okay in the mind of the average consumer.

I obviously love polar bears (and I try to do a lot to help them especially care2 offsetting carbon and planting trees)....having said that I think Coke should and could donate money directly rather than asking for help and could do more by promising and working towards zero GHG emissions and reducing their environmental footprint!

It's nice that Coca Cola is doing a small something for the polar bears but I they are definitely causing more damage to their ecosystem then they're letting on.

I'm surprised they're only donating 2 million dollars over the next 3 years! They make so much money. Now 2 billion, that would be impressive.

The fact is that they are selling on 1.7 billion drinks a day on average. Now tell me that 2 million dollars donated is such a big deal.

At least Coco-cola is donating something- there are plenty of big corps that don't do any good things at all...
