Restores my faith to see people going out of their way to help this dog. He must have been petrified. Even happy to hear that the gentalman being interviewed was taking the dog to his vet to get checked out. A good like this comes back to you a hundred foldThank you :-)

Wow-wow-wow! That dear dog must be part cat `cause he came so close to being a traffic statistic. It's so heartening and inspiring to see how many people tried to help the dog.

What a great team effort to save this dog. It could be that someone dumped him/her and that is the reason for being on the highway. It wouldn't be the first time but this dog seems to have been lucky as there were lots of helpful people out there. S/he must have been terrified. Who knows what life was like before this ordeal? Well, chapter 2 is now starting for her/him and it will be a good one.

It always looks like police do not know how to catch a stray dog. They chase it. Of course it's going to run further. Glad he ran into the right man.

Thank you to everyone who helped that poor dog. Too many times there are videos like this one where the cars don't even bother to slow down. And Ed, you are a walking angel. I wish only the best for you and those unfortunate animals you help.

Thanks BarbCat.......bless his little heart, can't imagine how tired he must have been after running for so long and with glass in his paw. Thanks to ALL the people that tried to catch the dog. And thanks to the man that is taking the poor dog to his vet, to get him looked after. Glad to see so many people that cared enough to try to catch the dog. So glad that he was not run over, he came close. I know he was so scared, with all the people running after him, but he didn't know they where just trying to help save him. Hope the owner is found, but if not hope he finds a good home. God Bless this poor scared dog!!!!

Thanks for posting Barb. Kind of restores my faith in mankind. A lot of people got on board to ensure the wee dog wasn't run over and lots more to run after him. He must have been scared out of his mind. and completely exhausted. I hope he'll get a wonderful home after all that.
