Lion Vs. Tiger: Which Cat Would Win Interspecies Fight?

This ultimate cat fight has happened more times than you might expect. The Romans pitted African lions against Asian tigers in the Coliseum, to the rip-roaring pleasure of the Plebeians. A few fights were also staged in the early decades of the 20th cent

Nothing I would want to see. Thanks for the post Barb. Interesting stuff. How's the "Blurb" going?

...and only humans would pit two animals from vastly different parts of the world in a battle... or even care who would win. Hmmm?

I think that both lions and tigers are just amazing and beautiful animals as well as all the other big cats too- such as the jaguar, leopard, cougar, and cheetah. The best way to think about a match like this is to imagine it, as this article does, rather than actually bring a fight on between these animals such as the Romans who were so cruel and barbaric and who had no ethics about the sanctity of life. I would rather not see these animals ever have to fight one another and would rather just admire each for their singular beauty and awesome agility. Thanks Barb!

Why post this crap, what human that respects animals would have this even enter their head - what does it matter, who would want to watch, who cares about the outcome, This is not for care2, humans, I despair

My guess would be lions. I hope I never have to witness these beautiful creatures fighting.

I think it is sick to even think about it. Who in their right minds would want to see this? I didn't even waste my time with the article when I read the first couple of sentences on this page.

I'd always thought the lion would win. And to everyone bitching about how bad/stupid this is, don't comment then. This is just hypothetical, and there's nothing wrong with posting simply interesting articles here. Not everything has to be depressing.

OMG, and a discussion about which big cat would win in a FIGHT is worthy of a Care.2 article just HOW?????????? I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the subject in the newsletter!

Please, Care.2, take this disgusting DISCUSSION/ARTICLE out of here.

Something like that would be way too brutal and gruesome. I know nature gets brutal, but it's for survival, not a contest.
