I believe his name is Duke but in the video they also scripted 'Dude.' I also believe this video was made some time ago but the main point is, Duke/Dude was rescued! Enjoy!

I could see how Duke would be frightened at first when the gate closed on him. But the rescuers, the music! It is always great to see stories like this. There are so many great people in this world helping others. Another fine example here.
Thank you Barb and congratulations on 1,000!

Thanks! This man is Eldad Hagar and with his organization "Hope For Paws" (and with other rescue organiizations) he saves a lot of abandoned and abused dogs (and cats, too!) He does a great great work :*-))

This was heartbreaking - to think that we humans can do these atrocious things to animals without even a conscience! Eldad is the most amazing wonderful person and his compassion and love for animals is beyond words. If only the world was filled with more of his kind. So happy that this beautiful dog was rescued - I hope the home he went to is forever filled with love, kindness and happiness.

Did you see it, the exact moment when the teeth disappeared and love set in? Didn't take long at all, just a little kindness and commitment. Works ... we have a lot to learn from this and pass along to others.

Really thanks for sharing Barb. Here in Italy too we fight against the abandonment of animals especially during the summer, I don't know and don't understand how is possible to let a creature die of starvation ...... We have just to thank this fantastic people who devote their lives to save and help these poor animals!!!

Not available for mobile...dang.
But knowing Eldad and Hope for Paws it's got to be good.
Eldad is amazing..while he rescues everyday, about a week ago he stepped up at the last minute snd pulled a dog we were desperately networking, one whose kennel fear was getting so bad he was changed to rescue only.
I believe he is now in a furever home in Canada. No one ekse eould take a chance but Eldad did ;-)
By the way, they have a new page just for pics, good news and videos.. the link is ionthe HFP fb page...thanks again Barb♥

Lots of stars to so many people and so many tears too! Thanks Barb - so glad the GSD is alright - I do hope that those who can give a little to the rescue (have just given to Little Bear's dad, Cliff, who is struggling to pay $9,000 vet bills - and his poor kitten died! See Katka Oelmann's posts....).

Animals appreciate the least kindness.
I love to walk.
Some years ago I was walking to work and would pass fences with dogs within. They would bark and that was ok with me, Then, one day I got an idea. I walked toward the fence and the dog began to bark, I responded telepathically flowing love to the dog who immediately stopped barking and came happily running to the fence, We exchanged vibes. I walked on to the next dog who responded in the same way.
Walking to work became much joy as I met my friends along the way,
