Shirley Mitchell, the last surviving adult castmember of I Love Lucy, died earlier this week of heart failure at her home in Westwood, Calif. She was 94. Mitchell appeared in three episodes of the iconic CBS sitcom as Marion Strong, Lucy's outspoken

R.I.P. Shirley; you're reunited with Lucy and all the gang! Thank you for your 'cakling hen' laughter; millions of us can still enjoy it on re-runs of 'I Love Lucy!'

I saw doris singleton who played caroline Appleby just a couple of years ago on tv, so I thought she was still alive. she died at 92 in 2012. two great actresses. very memorable.

Barb, I never knew about this and reading Catherine's comment I know I am always/somewhat in the rears. TU for memories....Where are the people that actually made us smile instead of the reality shows with ?!?!?

Lucy is my favorite of all time, I usually watch it every day! It's kind of sad how time goes on...but, this is the way it always has been. Thanks for sharing. These old shows were so funny and they didn't need to involve any sex in the shows to survive. I will always keep watchingk
