If you could train a dog to paint, do you think then that the dog ever thinks to itself, "if I should change careers will I earn more treats performing other tricks?"

Polo's work has very good spatial arrangement and a zen-like handling of the paintbrush! TY, Barb.

Thanks Barb for this wonderful story, and his paintings are better than some of what is in art museums.

Yes Dandelion! There are several elephants who paint beautiful self-portraits in India! I'd give anything to have one :)

A fascinating story of an interesting animal artist. I have also seen items on painting cats and a variety of other animals getting into creativity.

Noted and shared. What a charismatic Paw-casso! And I see there's a bit of Kandinsky and Joan Miró in Polo's strokes too :) Thank you so much for posting, sweetie.

Great story and a riot to have a standard poodle in a beret and painting! Good idea! Polo is smart (as poodles are) and beautiful! A charity is always a fine recipient of these funds...ty Barb!
