This crime is all the more heinous because it was committed by her "brother-in-arms" someone who should have been watching out for her, supporting her as a fellow marine AND the father of that baby! He is a rapist, a murderer and a disgrace to the uniform he is wearing!!!
Noted with sorrow for the deaths of this woman and her precious innocent baby.

This is horrible beyond comprehension. This goes to show just how sick and wicked in this world today. I can not put into words the disgust I have for this person and I use "person" very loosely.

I've been following this story on both CNN & Nancy's such a pity! The military and their LACK of timely investigation should be held accountable for these barbaric deaths. To report someone missing around Dec. 14....and now only have the media get involved is part of this crime!

Can you imagine your daughters being raped on the job...and then nothing further getting done about it until she and her baby..........9 months later, turn up burnt to death????

I will NEVER back a relative's choice to protect our country by joining the military. I've read way too many of their cover-up stories in my lifetime....and here's 2 lost lives with yet another cover-up.

May he be caught, and toasted like a marshmellow!

I simply cannot comprehand what is going on in his mind to kill her and the baby he probably created. I hope they catch him, dishonorably discharge him and lock him up and throw away the key. And how sad for his wife who now must go on with her life knowing she was married to such a horrible creature ~~ an adulterer, a rapist and then a murderer! Gives me the chills right down to my core.

Don't worry, Kathy, I'm sure God has plans for him.
The article also stated that the remains were buried in his backyard.
Thanks for noting and commenting everyone.

I notice concern for the unborn baby here but why does it not continue for all the unborn that are aborted under Roe Vs Wade? I know my position is not popular but I value all life whether in the womb or in the crib. Please reconsider the woman's so called right to kill her unborn baby!

Noted. A gruesome story, and I agree that this is a case where the military should have involved civilian authorities and media long before they did. A hideous outcome to a story that has had our interest for these past weeks. Yes, I think when he breathes his last breath here after serving time for these two deaths and in a place where people will do very rude things to his body, he can anticipate a toasty afterlife. Thank you for the update you have submitted here, Catmom.

Ricardo, I am pro-life and can not see aborting the fetus except if the mother's health is in danger. Thank you for your comment.

How horrible, and the poor girl had little support. When she first went missing her mother told investigators that she was bi-polar and a chronic liar. Her own parents not only assumed she just took off, but cast doubt on her rape accusations too...

They'd better catch this guy and give him what he deserves.

The way I look at things like this (other than the fact that this guy needs to be strung up!) is like this: If you don't want a possible child, keep your parts where they belong... in your OWN PANTS!!!!

AMEN to that, Ginny!! Another idea if you don't want children how 'bout getting a vizectomy?? ANYTHING is better than murdering the mother of your unborn baby.
