Officials at the Environmental Protection Agency are considering whether to bar BP from receiving government contracts, a move that would ultimately cost the company billions in revenue and could end its drilling in federally controlled oil fields.

All I can say is I hope they have the B#!!$ to follow through. BP's record demand that it be barred from doing business in the US and that includes their refineries too.

Yes, BP is to blame, but so is the federal government! It is like two naughty children with one trying to look innocent by saying "I didn't do it! He did it! He should be punished." Maybe both of these children need to be punished?

Nobody will ever ever take them seriously if they don't do something - and I hope it's something that hurts BP a bit - none of that $100 fine stuff.

The gov will never do anything worth the damage there are people who stand to lose too much buckaroo and it ain't the masses. The corruption is deep.
