It said Citrus County, where ever that is. Florida? There are so many of these notices, Texas, Ohio, and this one. It's so sad that there are so many potential pets and the ones being abandoned because people can't afford to keep them or move from a house into a condo or apartment. I hope some get adopted. I wish TV commercials would add a few seconds to flash a picture of a shelter pet waiting for adoption. I'd pay more attention to the commercials instead of tuning them out. Newspapers could help out, too, devoting some space to attract people's attention.

So sad people go for the cute new puppy when these lovely dogs are available to love. All of my dogs are rescues.
