Analysis of common patterns of genetic variation reveals that humans have been evolving faster in recent history. The rate of human evolution over the past few thousand years is far greater than it has been over the past few million years.

They talk about the physical genetic characteristics of the evolution of humans. It is too bad that we haven't developed spiritually and emotionally enough as a species to treat each other, all other species and the earth itself with respect and compassion.

I'm hoping that evolution will change more rapidly into more intelligent beings who will be able to correct the errors past into a more glorious vision of peace for the human race. Wishful thinking, eh...

And each change would leave to different interactions which influenced other evolutions so the cycle would encourage itself. Interesting!

Heard of "the hundreth monkey" mimi-There is a theory that a species when it picks up information or a habit passes it on on a sort of telepathetic level. On piece of evidence for this theory was a group of monkeys on an island which started doing something new with it's food-I think it was actually opening a clam that it couldn't open before i- by some new method.

This habit started to spread exponentially across the islands and eventually acrocss the world- so that it became a natural habit of the species. Lanark was sort of proved in a different way

Lanark had said that habits got passed on genetically and this was the cause of evolution + a wishing element

But this theory was that it was possible to pass on knowledge within your species on a nother level

Could an introductory version of this be happening when for instance people who have no way of knowing one another invent the same thing at the same time

In any case culture is designed to be passed on to offspring as a means of survival so we all inh fact are usingthe wealth of other peoples ideas and standing on their shoulders so to speak
