Thanks for a great post Mary! This is an excellent explanation regarding the issue of methane gas release as climate change impacts the Arctic.

Okay, lets all get together and start drying up those swamps and wetlands around the world so that methane will be trapped in the ground. Of course we will be destroying wildlife habitat and endangering millions of animals, but hey why should we worry about that; we are perfectly willing to starve plant life of the CO2 it needs to survive.

Thankfully, we arrogant humans are NOT in charge, Mother Nature is.
