Oh my...thanks for the update, Suzybell. What a great actor and person. His starring role in "Ghost" is one of my all-time favorite movies.

I hope that Patrick is able to fight this pneumonia and get out of the hospital soon. I wish him luck with his battle with pancreatic cancer. (A neighbor of mine was just recently diagnosed with this also)...

I pray he will beat this as I lost my father to it 28 years ago. Back then, though,treatment was not as advanced as it is today. He is truly a great actor and person and I wish him all the best in getting well.

Pancreatic is fast, usually 6 months, he's been very fortunate, but hasn't given up those cigs, bad, bad, bad, probably wouldn't help at this stage anyway, but was he awsome in "Dirty Dancing" just watched that again. Blessings to his family.

I was sad to read about Patrick having this awful type of Cancer; he's certainly well loved by all and wish him another speedy return home to his wife. The film "Ghost" is my favourite also lost count how many times that I've watched it on TV. God Bless you with his healing powers.

This breaks my heart. This man is such a wonderful human being. I read this and almost went in shock. This is just too fast. My thoughts and prayers are with Him and His wonderful Family. Thank you Suzybell for reporting on this. As some of you know, I have been in a wheelchair for forty two years. Dear Lord, why am I not one of the ones to get out of here and let someone like this, LIVE!!!!!!! I just don't get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am worried about him. Pneumonia isn't good in his health condition and your right Blue Bunting...those cigarettes aren't helping either. He is in my prayers.

That a super, super guy like Patrick sould be so stricken is a terrible shame. We all remember Ghost and Dirty Dancing, as if we could forget, and somehow the thought of him weakened, on medication, is saddening. Lets hope that the quality of his life has not been affected too much. He is in our prayers.
