Thanks Suzybell, good to know that the high court is turning elections around so corporate money will not be so sought after by the politicians and our elections will be fore fair. It is time for corporate money to stop having such an influence on the outcome of our elections.

They want to screw us every which way....need to hit the streets, phones, emails, snail mails. Hey, do you recall the sixties? How about the people who fought at the turn of the century to give us labor laws so the children didn't work in unsafe mills, for a fair wage, shorter work days....remember them? How they got out enmass? Well best get off our duffs....inform the younger ones....us older ones are getting a bit tired now and many of us have health problems.

Unfortunately, there's a strong possibility that the Supreme Court might decide to make our elections less fair by allowing unlimited corporate money into our elections. Corporations are not people, and money is not speech. We need to stand up and show that the public won't accept this unconscionable increase in corporate power. Check out the pledged street actions to see if there are protests happening in your town on Sept. 9 here: http://action.citizen.org/t/6693/content.jsp?content_KEY=6231. Let us know if you're planning an action of your own by sending us a message at Action@citizen.org. Thanks for helping spread the word about this!
