If everyone could stop going there it'd be great. But, the prices are low, and just what people need right now. They know they have us, and no, they do not care about workers. Just show up and stock those shelves, to keep the profit coming in. Keep wages low, and benefits crappy. People need to work though, and will do what they must.

Walmart is evil, a necessary evil for so many people right now. It's so hard to break away from shopping there, especially when you reside in a small town as I do, where there is very little choice in retail. I guess it just takes baby steps and a lot of willpower. Peace. :)

Walmart is like the evil empire in Starwars.. They completed destroyed my little home town. They came to town won every one over with their low prices, put people that had little stores out of business, even through the little store had let these same people have credit,[ Walmart didn't,] but they were not thinking about that at the time. Every little store front on the square of town finally went out of business.. There was only one grocery store in town. They stayed for about 10 years, long enough to go out and build another bigger store and of course you did see a raise in prices, but people had to buy there now, so they could do what ever. This lasted for about 2 years and they came said we through, we don't make enough money here and we will close the store as of January 1, and they did. Now all people have to go to the next biggest little town which is 30 miles away, many are very poor and are elderly, now they do not even have a way to get their medicine, because the drug stores,( with full service soda fountain) which I loved is gone, They closed because no business. So to me Walmart is the evil empire. I hope they get what they have sowed back to them one day.. They have don't so much more than just ruined life, devalued property, made ghost towns out of rural communities and I think hurt the American way of life. I just hope someone can take them down

Fortunately what I don't grow is provided by local farmers here in Denton, TX. Now if I can just find a dairy and a farmer with butcher equip., I'd never have to go grocery shopping again.

This happens world wide, the little grocery store down the road... they have all but disappeared, and the world has moved onto bigger and better, But they should be looking after their employees as they work long hours and when I have visited the US, they have been very pleasant... Equal rights for the workers and a liveable wage to
