I am really concerned about hurricanes. We in the northeast haven't had a really severe strike since Hurricane Gloria in 1985. It cut a swath right through central Connecticut. My then-husband and I had to move out of our house for 2 weeks...no electricity, lines and trees blocking our road, our huge linden tree fallen over the stone wall into the road...those wonderful men from the Quebec power company finally cleared the debris so we and others could get back home. We're overdue for another big one...shudder.
