Peru is investigating the deaths of more than 500 pelicans along a 70km (40-mile) stretch of the country's northern coast. Scientists have also found carcasses of 54 boobies, sea lions and a turtle. in same region where 800 dolphins washed ashore earlier

with all that crap we're dumping into the oceans, from animal wastes to plastics, i guess we can expect to see more and more sea life dying. hopefully it's not too late and humans will soon actually start caring about their own planet.

I doubt sonar but agree with Sue. Add to this the 50,000 deaths at Klamath thanks to water being withheld and we have mass avian catastrophe on our hands.
