The temperature there, which has reached as high as 47 degrees Celsius (117 degrees Fahrenheit), has caused water temperatures to rise and areas of the protected river to dry up, killing about 60 tons of fish since April 22, said Pen Vanrith.

When man doesn't learn to live within the balance of nature the balance is thrown off. We have many areas in the world seeing horrific drought such as this while other areas are being hit with floods that are uncommon. Too much water in one place too little in another ......out of balance.

Our leaders across the globe are not serious about preventing this, too concerned about growing their economies that are also based on false premises because while a few are gathering riches it has also caused more poverty. Growth without taking into account of the externalities is bringing us all to places within the future that will only continue to grow worse.

Sad. I wish Mother Nature would just rain where it's needed and be gentle on the areas that flood. We are suffering with the drought of our own here in California. Thanks Derek
