If this were a prize fight, the referee would have stepped in to stop the bludgeoning. This ain't boxing, however: this is politics, so wear a helmet, light a candle in whatever house of worship you attend in the hope that the beatings will cease once...

Ah yes once again our miserable political choices are highlighted.

After reviewing Mitt's tax returns, John McCain decided that Sarah Palin was the better choice as his running mate. There's nothing I can possibly add...

I guess McCain is not expecting to be nominated as VP himself....

Maybe Rmoney can get Drill Baby Dingbat to be his running mate.

"Drill Baby Dingbat".....TOM! That is a HOOT!

(Remember last year, when we had a voluntary moratorium on mentioning her name?)

Well, to be honest . . .

I have nothing to add. It's so off the wall that trying to follow up on it would be like waving to the last drops of water as they swirl down the drain. Pointless, weak, and without effect.

How very sad that anyone considers Sarah Palin a better candidate than Mitt Romney. How very happy I am that the Republican candidate IS Mitt Romney!!!

Funny, yes. But also true. And as inane as she is, she's still a better candidate than Mittens. He isn't fit to run a funhouse, let alone the United States of America. Unless you want it run into the ground, THAT he could do.

This is just priceless!!!! Aim barrel at foot, pull trigger. I believe the Republican politicians are their own worst enemy. Do they even THINK BEFORE speaking? IF McCain is right about Mitt RobMe's tax records then logically Mittens would not hesitate to reveal them to the American Voter. After all we have a right to know what we're being sold. IF Palin were a better choice than Mittens (It's hard to keep from laughing while I type this) then MaCain is saying that Mittens is a real LOSER. Either way, FOOT JUST GOT SHOT!!!

The CLEAR WINNER!!!: OBAMA 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That 's a sad comment, no matter how you look at it.

What's really sad is the state of the republican party. They have a candidate they don't want running against a president they all loathe. Either way, Robert B. is correct. They just shot themselves in the foot!

I haven't heard Palin's blabbering for a long time, which is great. Now let's hope Bachmann gets defeated in re-election bid. The entire RETHUGnican party is bad news.

I have to wonder what is so horribly wrong with Romney that the psycho Sarah Palin is considered a reasonable choice for VP over Romney.

so scary but so true. About time that some of the GOP or as I now call it-$$$ can see thru the Mittsters lies. Can't wait for the debates.

Well, my good ol' Sen. that I NEVER vote for seems to be trying to straddle a fence...unsuccessfully, as usual. (Isn't he getting kind of sore?...LOL!) Hard to tell if he's defending she-whose-name-I-will-not-speak, or just dissing Willard. He keeps "protecting" her, and I wonder if she's "got something on him." Just seems odd that he'd say this about his own parties' candidate. What could he possibly hope to gain? I think he will quickly "walk this one back" on some future interviews...he was on with Piers Morgan tonight, but I didn't watch. Oh, well--he's known for his flip-flopping. Reading this did give me a few laughs, though...maybe it's that his age is showing, to put it nicely.

Senator McCain's statement spoke volumes about Ronmey's qualifications for the position of Vice President. Senator McCain claims there was nothing illegal about Mr. Romney's tax returns yet he found Ms Palin more qualified.

Ms Palin more qualified than Mr Romney. I know some of you are laughing but maybe just maybe Senator McCain knows something that hasn't been shared with the rest of America yet. Think about it!

Both candidates are despicable but there is a worse malicious conceit in Romney that even laughable Palin! She is just a wide open space surrounded by teeth.
