The $100 million that billionaire casino mogul Sheldon Adelson pledged to donate to Mitt Romney will turn out to be a good investment if the Republican nominee wins the presidential election in November...

These millionaires and billionaires wouldn't be parting with so much of their money if they didn't expect a return on their investment. They are in the business of making money, and buying our government allows them to make lots and lots of it! Their "bought and paid for" politicians can pass legislation that will lower their taxes, further weaken the EPA, create more deregulation, hurt unions, etc. And many of those who suffer most will still vote for the party the billionaires support. Go figure...

I dread to think what will happen if R&R win and if these proposals go through - can't they see what they are doing?!

That's one man that I could not be friends with, though I would respect him as a human being. One has to give everyone a chance to reform. Where there's life, there's hope, even if it is very slim.

This reminds me of the Walton family(the owners of Walmart). This one family owns 40% of all the wealth in the U.S. The rest of the elites put together own almost everything else. The bottom 60% of us i.e. the majority of the people...owns only 2% of the nation's wealth. We need economic justice and we need it now.

I don't know why "enough is never enough" for some of these rich folks. Maybe it's wanting to be on that Fortune 500's list of the wealthiest. But, pathologically hoarding so much money, one wonders if they are just hoarders of a different kind. because instead of hoarding junk and garbage ....they hoard only the best money can buy for them. . When I heard that Romney had an elevator for his car that turns so he doesn't have to back the car out of a garage....maybe that was the limit of my appreciation for his kind of wealth that corrupts the spirit.

Screw we the people. It's business as usual - government for the rich by the rich.

Brian says it ": We need economic justice and we need it now." It seems no one can hurt the rich. "Let's go and buy a government", that's frightening.
