Once 'Progressive,' Romney Allies Himself With Angry Extremists

One of the more disturbing symptoms of Mitt Romney's evolution from a supposed moderate whose "views are progressive" to a "severely conservative" presidential candidate has been his close alliance with such right-wing extremists as Tony Perkins.

Progressive and Mitt Romney really don't seem to fit in the same sentence. Thanks Carrie.

I am still trying to figure out who has their gloved arm stuck up his rear and moving his lips while throwing their voice like talented ventrilloquists. If knowledge could be placed in a container for all to see, Flip Flop Mitt would have lots of empty space left over in that miniature thimble.

I just find it interesting that there's a real split here due to the group's calling Mormonism a cult. After JFK was elected, the religion of POTUS didn't seem to matter....since Nixon was a Quaker. But, with the evangelicals ratcheting up the "religion card" with people like Falwell and Robertson in the '80's, religion has come back into the conversation with a vengeance. Dumbya only made it worse. Now, the Republican party is "eating it's own" because of the "Values Voters"...and with Willard's Mormonism at front-and-center, it seems they've shot themselves in the foot.

that doesn't surprise me. And did you know that the Mormones register every dead person who wasn't in the church, to baptise them afterwards. Thanks but NO thanks. Don't vote for him and what he stands for, he's a dangerous creep.

Republicans have NO intention of EVER cooperating with ANY Democrat in office. They are against women, children and the middle class. Why they have become so obstructive over the years I can only guess is that they want more money in their pockets and to hell with the rest of the nation. Vote Republicans out of office in every state and at every opportunity.
