40 Republicans showed their lack of compassion for our members of the armed services by voting on 9/19/12 to filibuster the Veterans Jobs Corps Act of 2012, which would have provided training to help veterans find work as police, firefighters, and...

Signed, thanks Carrie. Republicans have no hesitation spending trillions to start wars and continue them. But will not give a small percentage of that to take care of the veterans who have fought in them. Despicable.

The g o p pukes showed their true colors by not giving the veterans jobs they need. Even John McCain voted against this and this man should be ashamed of himself as a Vietnam veteran. Ugh! Time to get these g o p pukes the unemployment lines now.

Ty, Carrie.

I'm sure the RepubliCONs are only thinking of our safety - if veterans get jobs in America, then they won't Re-Enlist! It's much Harder to get Volunteers when people realize CONgre$$ won't Really Support military PEOPLE, from unsafe showers to lack of body armor to poor hospital & rehabilitaion - no matter what, the veterans are the LAST thing on CONgre$$ional minds!;)

And yet, I keep hearing Republicans, asking President Obama, where are the jobs? Well, here's your answer...They shoot down every jobs bill, that the President has proposed the past 4 years...They are purposely trying to destroy the Country's Economy, just to score political points for the GOP, and make President Obama, as they're stated since day one of his Administration a one term President,,, And they've willingly tried to destroy our Country to do it...I hope the undecided voters of this Country can see who's responsible for the troubles we've had, it's not Obama, but the obstructionists, of the Republican party...

I thought I had already signed this petition, but it accepted my name and email address, so maybe I hadn't. Once again, the Republicans should be ashamed of themselves! They send our soldiers off to fight their illegal and/or unwinnable wars and then turn their backs on them when they return. And they had the nerve to call the rest of us "unpatriotic" when we petitioned to end the wars and bring our troops home! Hypocrisy at its finest!

As a disabled Vietnam Vet, this makes me angry and sick. Republicans have always said (but not true) that they supported the troops. The only way they support troops is to send them off to wars, usually for their own power and greed. All the military needs to know this, but it's kept hidden.

Noted and signed by the way. Too bad the media (controlled by the right wing) doesn't expose this so people actually know what's going on. I wonder if Fox ever reported this? Ha Ha Ha. I forget, they don't put the truth, but just the republican propaganda.
