Some truth in that. I know people like that, who were knocked sideways by the recession in the early 90s. Fortunately, they are not politicians.
Interesting that Paul Ryan was a "brown noser". Hitler was dismissed from Officer's School as unfit for leadership for the same characteristic. Maybe Ryan is driven by the same "I'll show them" rage.
