I was very glad to hear that this judge used common sense and could see thru' this requirement. It is probably a judgement that will postpone the ID requirement, but it will open up voting opportunities for this election and most people will likely be able to get suitable ID by the time the next one comes around. We need this kind of ID in Canada. Because I don't drive I have to take my passport to vote.

It makes no sense not to require an ID. ID's are required for everything we do now! We know voter fraud exists. Vote early & often is the "joke". I don't believe this would block voters, especially the elderly. You have to show an ID to see a Dr. or get a medical test.
