Well, that was plainly obvious to me that he had notes. So, if he's a cheater and liar, and also a thief, why is he still considered a leader of the Mormon church? Mormons should be mad that he's giving them a bad name.

I'm not too sure about this. I too noticed, but what struck me most was Romney making sure to return to the podium to retrieve his handkerchief, as well as the handing over after the debate was over of what appears to be paper (his notes?) to someone. It seemed to be urgent and necessary. Is this real, or are we becoming like the right wing conspiracy theorists and seeing any and everything that quite possibly might not be there? I have to be honest and think about that.

That was his son, he handed the notes to his son! Obama hugged Michelle, then shook hands with Jim Lehrer, the Romney family, and left with Michelle. No doubt they had plans for their anniversary.

Kit, do you see what I mean about this entire incident and the various reactions? Yes, I did notice all of this without any help from anyone else, and in a way it concerns me. I don't want to be one of "those people" who see something where nothing really exists.

I saw it, others that I chat with saw that, and since there were not supposed to be notes or teleprompters, what were the very obvious papers that were left on the podium? Did Romney really need to pick up his notes taken during the debate? I'm thinking no. Obama didn't pick up his notes, and we all saw him taking notes, both took notes. I would say that I saw him shuffling note cards during the debate, though I would want to see it again, before staking any thing on that.

Okay, here's another possibility, Romney is so afraid of being caught out again, he was afraid to leave the notes he took during the debate. (???)

See what I mean? We all notice things and think Hmm - Is that what he was doing or was it something else? Who knows? At this point, even if someone found he had notes - no one would do anything about it. Romney is the new teflon man!

Romney was totally steamrolling over Jim Lehrer and the rules of the debate. He wouldn't even have won at a high school debate tournament with this bombastic performance, where he does also appear to be using notes!

Boy, he is a real rocket scientist if he needs notes after he was given the questions for the first time in history of presidential debates. He certainly had enough time to memorize his answers. As for the CPD, they gave him the questions so it wouldn't surprise me if they looked the other way.

@Christopher....I am unable to send you another green star at this time, but you deserve one. You are absolutely right and thanks for your comment...I agree 100%. Still, anyone who considers themselves as a "good Mormon" would be torn between supporting him to remain in lockstep with the rest of the sheeple, or shunning him for not staying true to the principles of his religion. (Maybe if they found out a reason he doesn't want to release past tax forms is because he didn't fully tithe the church 10%..... then they'd REALLY be torn).

One Candidate WORKED/PRACTICED for the debates, the other was probably watching & rewatching his appearance on "The View", lol ;-)

And finally, with the software available to "Edit" everything from YouTube videos, to home movies, this choppy, low res, low quality "video" proves nothing. My two kids used to make spoofs of movies, editing & re-editing, to make "funny movies", with re-arranged dialogue, scenes, etc.

Wag the dog, sour grapes, whatever you call it ... sore losers -- One was prepared -- one came in as the incumbent, expecting to be given the "winner" status!

Redistribution doesn't always work! Some things have to be EARNED!

Finally, he took notes on Obama's points, and passed them off, so they could be used to prepare for the next debates ... as I'm sure, the issues discussed, will be raised again at the next debate!

It helps to be able to quote what your opponent said, and offer a rebuttal. That's how debates work!
