The vice president just couldn't seem to help himself: Ryan was an easy target.

Yet, the major newspapers, and CNN, thought Ryan did an excellent job. I guess it's all in the perception of what one views as a person who knows what he;s talking about- when he's able to speak.

If it was all about personality and not about issues I guess Mickey Mouse would be a political hopeful.

Heidi and Allan I disagree with both of you. Ryan was not allowed to be himself, but rather a Romney spokesperson. Since that changes from day to day, Ryan looked foolish. As far as being able to speak, he was given more opportunity than President Obama was in the the first debate. Romney set the debate rules by his kinetic performance..

As far as personality- well yes it is true that Biden has one and Ryan does not. Biden also has an honest view and position on political matters which Ryan does not. Or perhaps Ryan is not allowed to express his views for fear of contradicting the position of the day held by Romney.

Keeping track of lies is so difficult for the Romney Ryan campaign.

Noted. *Sorry I'm unable to send Carrie a green star since I sent one within the past week. But, great comment! Biden "wiped the floor" with Ryan. It was obvious to anyone watching. Ryan was totally on the defense, and resorted to "anything but the truth" when speaking. He just couldn't keep up.

Ryan did not have that flash card to study. So he gave the wrong answer. Send our troops to the front line in Afghanistan. Was he ever in the front line besides the stimulus money from the Obama administration ann
