Tea Party billionaires such as Sheldon Adelson and the Koch brothers may well regret joining forces with Rove at all.

I would say that there were many losers. Just sinful, all the millions spent on ads. Think of what this money could have done to help those in need of help following these natural disasters.

Wonderful article Carrie - thank you. I particularly loved this bit - makes him sound like Rasputin - I knew he reminded me of someone!

"All of which means, when it comes to Karl Rove, the Democrats had best play by Chicago rules. “That means when he is dead, you put a stake through his heart,” explained one Democratic operative. “Then you put a bullet through his head. You pour gasoline on him and set him on fire. Then you kill him again. Because he’ll be back.”

I agaree with Dotti and Pat Armstrong! Many losers - I kept thinking, during the election, of all that despicable money and what it could've done for the victims of Sandy!'s time to destroy the "vampires", once and for all. They DO keep coming back!
The same thing happened with Rove in 2008. He was indicating on a board of some kind the figures etc and how McCain could still win when they cut him short and said Obama has been elected. I remember his pathetic face with much glee!

I think what he finds so hard to comprehend is that the majority of people in our Country do not bow and worship what he and his ilk consider to be the Supreme force to our very existence, MONEY. This loss to them is only temporary, they will regroup and try again in 2014 when congress is once again up for reelection and some senate seats.

I'm thinking those good old boys might be wanting a refund. I mean, they coulda had a couple more houses with the money they just flushed down Rove's toilet. After the ignominious riding out of DC on a rail way he left the Bush administration, why anyone would listen to him is beyond me. Then again, the way those people think on all matters is beyond me. You'd think, they think, they can take it with them. I bet Karl told them that too.

Hilarious! They deserved to lose what they love most....Cold hard cash! Kudos to the middle class and the poor. It's still a pittance for them collectively, but at least their bank accounts are a little bit emptier thanks to us not being deceived and taken in by their lies.

Ann Coulter and the like are saying Society now has more Takers than Makers. She's got it *ss-backwards. Workers and laborers are the Makers, the elite are the Takers. They're saying we voted for Obama because we want "stuff" They were voting for Romney because they wanted "stuff" like tax cuts to by yachts, car elevators, multiple residences and create Million Dollar Rooms. Is that show still on, or did it make people too pissed off to see what the elite are spending OUR $$$$ on? What the Middle Class and poor want is peace of mind, and to enjoy the fruits of our labors. Certainly not ridiculous excess.

Noted. Thanks Carrie...I imagine the 'good old boys' are crying in their millions right now. The takers were once makers, but they have forgotten all about what real life is........they can't take it with them when their time comes, so if they want to join the human race again, maybe they could consider doing something for their country that gave them opportunities in the first place.

Interesting article, Carrie! Love the final paragraph --it makes Karl Rove sound like a fungal infection that just won't go away. I have no sympathy for Sheldon Adelson, the Koch brothers or anyone else who lost millions to Karl Rove's machinations. They were taking a gamble because they wanted to win control of the White House. Fortunately for the rest of us, Mitt lost --and so did Karl.

What is totally unbelievable about all of the day after rhetoric coming from the tea baggers, is that they still don't get it.
They want to blame the Romney loss on Hurricane Sandy.
They are accusing the christian right of not getting out the vote.
In Florida, my state, they are even calling for recounts! Florida, our election laws and election official are so crooked they make the drug dealers look like saints!
They just cannot believe that the majority of Americans think the tea bagger conservative platform preaching hate and racism is wrong.

I heard one conservative say that Romney's position changes were justified because what he was offering in his final days of the campaign would represent the president we would be getting. I guess that means he has finally stopped morphing.

These crackpots aren't finished, we will have to flush them down the drain in 2014 to clean the congress of their racist hate mongering. The big money did not get what they wanted this time, but they will be back.

We need to get rid of "Corporations are people too" and we need to do it now.

And while I'm here, Ann Coulter is a dumb bitch, she has been a vile piece of dung here entire life. She has no qualifications to criticize anyone at any level in government. She has been a taker her entire life.

I hope Karl Hein Rove and his compatriots on FOX got GRIEF COUNSELING. To say that Sandy--was the reason for the GOP loss WAY OUT IN OHIO the middle of the country is stretching it. But that's what they do on FOX.'s their mantra.
In February 2003, a Florida Court of Appeals unanimously agreed with an assertion by FOX News that there is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States. Saudi billionaire, Al-waleed bin Talal, controls an influential number of voting shares & owns Fox News, which is one of the leading sources of mis-information. If the Fairness Doctrine were still in effect, Fox News would dry up and die.

Republicans want to punish work and reward wealth; hence the high payroll tax and the low dividend tax . Said one Bush economic adviser, if we can't help wealthy investors and @#(*% working people, what's the point in being a Republican?" ( Paul Begala )

Denial is a psychotic (out of touch with reality) defense mechanism of the mind.
Karl Hein Rowe may have been temporarily deranged or it may have been a more florid manifestation of insanity.
Has anyone seen the movie "The Ruling Class" with Peter O'toole? Here it is on youtube:

He is thought to be a Schizophrenic when he's being Jesus Christ, but same when he is being the devil.
He is actually not quite right in both manifestations. The comedy is in how people respond to him.
Maybe Karl Rove will become a Socialist after this experience of failure?

It was a moment to savor to watch Rove stutter and spew confusion on FOX. I loved the commentator on FOX (yes FOX!!) ask him if his math was real or if it was his wishful math that he still thought Mitt had won. Wow, that guy is lost in his own self-made hell of a reality, and all the rest of the misled bunch. Their world is truly upside down where down is up and good is bad. Roseann hit the nail on the head "Ann Coulter and the like are saying Society now has more Takers than Makers. She's got it *ss-backwards. Workers and laborers are the Makers, the elite are the Takers." She is probably not even a woman with such a big Adam's apple.

It seems the dagger they threw at us has turn back upon them.

Late yesterday, Rove was saying that they lost due to voter suppression by Obama! I laughed out loud! Amazing! Doesn't this guy know what a JOKE he is?

Reece C - GREAT comments! My sentiments exactly.
Rick Scott, FL Governor,("Lord Valdemort") is refusing to implement healthcare. Let's hope Floridians finish the job in 2014 and get rid of the rest of the Tea Party nutjobs, including this idiot! His voter suppression alone should do the job! Creep! And what about Allen West? This guy just won't let go...he probably knows he'll have to find a REAL job now!

Glad no estatic that Rove etc lost.
But we still have to condend with Constitution killer Obama with his NDAA, Patriot Ack enhancing, broken promises to all but also to hispanics/latinos he PROMISED legislation on immigration reform. Another lie.
Now he won this election on the backing of Latino vote cuz w/o it he would have lost. Two days later Repugs trying to change approach to Latinos. So I voted Independent because I don't want my civil and human rights to continue to be attacked for NWO.

Noted. Rover's just one big, fat joke now. He never was "boy genius".....just cheated to get his way, and thought he could hit "instant replay" and just do it again. Obama had "people power" and used it wisely. His campaign also had math & science, which they used brilliantly. Let's see the GOP continue to diss math & science as they quickly sink into a black hole.
Yes, Julian, we still have to "hold Obama's feet to the fire" just as the masses did with Roosevelt....he said, "make me do it." We now have an enormous grassroots network of movements that are working with each other on various issues to retain our civil & human rights and protect the environment. Let's get to work!

sorry about the typos above, I was on my nook with bleary eyes.
Julian, the constitution was systematically taken apart by the same heinous anuses, Cheney & Bush & Rove & Co. who also handed Obama the disastrous car wreck of a country----and then the Tbags and GOPs all watched him do his best to put it back together as well as possible in 4 years as he could, with his hands tied, without help, and with them putting all kinds of obstructions in front of him. He still managed to accomplish more good in those years than anyone else could have. He is one man against a hate machine that just wants to take all control and then do nothing good with it. Please don't blame Obama for anything like taking the constitution apart, that is truly vile, and belongs in the same place as all the rest of the lies about him.
I am proud that we re-elected Obama who is a moderate, but who is a man of true integrity and wisdom. I am proud to be a Progressive Liberal and I stand behind an agenda to make this country a functioning democracy where every person gets a voice and the smallest ones also get a chance to have justice, equality and to pursue happiness. I am not going to sit down now that he won, I am going to keep the ball rolling that we worked so hard to roll and get him back in. We are going to go forward with ideas and help implement real changes.
I am tired of the blame game for things that are small potatoes compared to what that whole group of so-called "illuminati", the Bushes and Cheneys and all the rest of the misled "folk" who think that the ends justify the means; particularly when the ends are all for their own selfish gains and on the backs of all the rest of us who actually do all the hard work. Screw them all, its our turn now, humanity's turn to have a chance at happiness; and happiness is not a pocket full of gold, it is relationship and a simple abundance of healthy food, water, and a sustainable economy built on true spiritual principles of sharing and caring about one another, the country and the whole world.
