Tidying Up the 2012 Election

They are still counting votes in Ohio, a process that once seemed as if it might transfix the nation and require the attention of the Supreme Court, but now it's something more like an asterisk.

They need to "tidy up" the whole voting procedure all over the nation!

AZ had 600,000 of these "early" and "provisional" ballots to count after the election....which they finally finished doing. I understand CA had 6 million. When I was getting several daily mailings from various groups over a period of months to "vote early" I kept asking when these early votes would be counted. Since I never got a truly satisfactory answer, I decided to continue voting at the polls. Now, I see there's some sort of very strange system in place---this all needs to change before the next election.

The voting process in Ohio might just get a thorough cleaning process soon! I heard on the news tonight that Senator Nina Taylor is giving serious thought to running for Ohio's Secretary of State in 2014. There's no doubt in my mind that, if elected, she'd really clean house! They certainly could use her services in Florida, as well!

They certified the AZ vote that left 500,000 votes out. For their record, Romney won but he really lost.

I live in Arizona and I don't trust that all votes were counted. The next election I am going to the polls and now do early ballot. If I can't be sure my voted counted what's the point of an early ballot. Since you have them early count them early and get rid of provisional ballots.

I'm just gonna keep saying it till my representatives
listen - We need a Federal Election Process - not
the haphazard and corruptible 50-State Process we
currently have.

What we are collectively saying here is that there is a problem. We need to investigate and get results. This isn't good for either party. I'm sure we can all agree with that. As Americans, we need to trust the system and know that our votes are being processed correctly. As Americans, we need to know the truth and we need to make sure that we never have voter fraud. We must protect our system at all costs.
