Piers Morgan conducted one of his most entertaining interviews in a while on Monday night, although the term "interview" is perhaps a bit generous in describing the tirade from Alex Jones, the talk show host who started the petition to deport Morgan for...

Let's face it...the NRA is done.

Thanks Carrie, I had watched the video earlier. Whew! What Alex Jones is too crazy to realize is that he is the perfect spokesperson for why gun control is necessary. We need to prevent radical nut cases like him from possessing firearms or, for that matter, anything more lethal than a Q-tip. Kudos for Morgan for keeping his cool and allowing Jones to come off like the madman he is. I was also thinking it would be nice for a change if some of these anti gun control obsessives would spend that their energy on causes that word actually help people. But then, that does not feed their paranoia. Sorry to see that this guy has a radio show to excite more of his brand of craziness.

Thanks Carrie for the link to the article and the video of that segment of the interview. Mr. Jones was a total jeck and is the finest example of why there needs to be sensible weapons regulations. Read, viewed and noted.

Piers Morgan didn't really need to do much at all other than extend an invitation for the guy to turn up and 'interject' his lunatic ravings with a question regarding statistics or should I say in crazyspeak 'factoids'.

A plague on both your houses.

Please stop this "deport Piers Morgan" thing, Americans. We Brits really don't want him. Unless he's coming back to stand trial. Otherwise, please, please don't make us endure him any more. We've suffered enough.

I used to have some respect for Alex Jones, conspiracy king, until I heard his interview with David Rothschild, the young environmentalist of that family. I thought it a good thing a man like that cared about our planet. Jones blasted him with his Bilderberger/ Illuminschmati tirade; the man never had a chance to discuss his work & could barely get in a word.

Then I observed Jones' influence on Tea Bagger & GOP politics. I have since concluded that the Conspiracy Theories themselves are the worst conspiracy of all, dividing us. Meanwhile, on his "Prison Planet" site, Jones is selling products for living in the age of Mad Max. Stockpile food, filter your water, and be prepared to defend it all with your guns, folks !

Still, I wasn't prepared for the almost violent, ADD-style lack of focus in discourse he displayed with Piers Morgan. Jones probably has plenty of assault rifles, and with the paranoia he displays, I find the prospect frightening.

I'M A BRIT, AND WRITING FROM ENGLAND, ALEX JONES IS A loud mouth, but! he has a point, piers should mind his own business.
i do have sympathies with the americans over these brutal killings, and signed the sandy memorial added it to my facebook timline, so others could respond.
i dont think outsiders should be telling the US peoples what to do, they have their own internal affairs dealing with this, and this should be left to them.
Yours is a huge and diverse country, i'm sure your capable of handling this well enough yourselves.
My sumpathy to you ALL xx

Alex Jones is simply nuts in the manner
he was trying to make his point

Jones needs to take a very long vacation to Mars.

Wherever you go there once was a forest.
Plant & protect Danny's trees for life.

Alex Jones is no more. He lost it all on that show with Piers Morgan.

Alex Jones needs a hefty dose of Thorazine and deported to the nearest insane asylum.

Ty, Carrie.

Any respect I ever had for Alex Jones disappeared with this interview - a classic case of why guns should be regulated - and while I've not been a Piers fan, I admired his restraint. I'm also glad to see him pushing this - too bad it takes someone from another country to tell us how crazy we've become.

I kept waiting for the guys in the white coats to bring out the straight jacket and net for this turkey. Too much caffiene Alex ?

Alex J. is most definitely a candidate for hospitalization, where they have the straight jackets. He certainly gave such a performance that even more people will be on the side of gun control. Happy to see that Piers is pushing this, and can keep his composure!
Thank you for this one Carrie.

I'm a Brit, too, and I agree about not interfering with other countries' internal affairs . . .which is why i wish the US would try that themselves.

As for the "Jolly Roger" . . . firstly, that's the pirate's flag,
secondly when I lived in the UK the Union Jack was coloured red, white and blue, too.
Could that combination also be favoured by the French?

For so many years I've heard the comments about "bleeding heart liberals" from the mouths of Republicans. They joke about the "warm fuzziness" amongst left wingers. Seems to me that these conservonuts are the emotional ones....Bohner crying his crocodile tears for no reason, Limpbag and Beck screaming and moaning....and now Alex Jones with his absolute meltdown. So, it's now proven these people are totally nuts....and potentially dangerous to others. Jon Stewart had some excellent pieces the last couple days on The Daily Show regarding this...check out his website for viewing.

that man is scary... as others have said, this Alex guy is a great example in support of gun control. Wouldn't want this guy to be walking around with a gun.... or sharp instruments... scissors.... etc. he could blow again at any moment..

What a sad individual. He's a good example of why there should be stricter gun regulations..
