Wow, got me on this one. It is a little disconcerting though. Thanks Carrie.

Thanks Carrie for the link to the article by Noah Shachtman. Whoa, amazing images. If this guy doesn't know what this site is, than I am quite concerned. Very impressive complex to say the least. Read, viewed and noted.

Looks like an ancient city complex - but I'm not CIA.

The CIA was able to analyze absolutely everything that was on the ground, circa 1960. Now the pictures are better and they cannot analyze anything. Humm. I think they were operating on fevered paranoid imagination during the cold war. I am glad their assumptions did not blow us all up.

Whatever it is, it is still under construction. My concern is what is inside those brown containers
~ If I were China and had the American Fleet moving into the Pacific to protect disputed territories, knowing eventually, there will be a conflict about Taiwan and the Philippines. China already sent a message to the U.S., when they sent a missile up and took out that satellite. The U.S. Military's Achilles heal, global satellite positioning. Knock that out and America's might is useless. That is a scenario that scares me!

What is the nature of the minerals and serpentine rock formations in that desert>
Maybe it is a mining operation for something that will give the Chinese some kind of edge - maybe power generation.

I was reading about this last summer. There are many theories so I think I will just wait and see. One of the funniest comments was a submarine base in the middle of the desert. Of course it could be a HAARP type project or a developmental area such as 51 or China Lake in California or the top secret one in Idaho? I said there are many theories out there. LOL

Anybody read the comments on the article there? Yossarian thought it was a secret submarine base (in the desert! [Others noticed the discrepancy too!]) - gave me a chuckle though!

Not a good sign! I thought the HAARP comment was interesting. I'd sure like to know what this is though. Don't trust this country!

Thanks, Carrie....fascinating. Somebody knows what this is...besides the Chinese. I just can't believe that we have 77 Fusion Centers in the US to keep records of citizens, who are under constant surveillance....and that our intelligence officials don't know what this is in China. They know.
Maybe it's an underground facility built to house the wealthy in case of disaster....or maybe a Chinese "Fusion Center," or a huge housing development being built using some type of green energy? How about where they're building those arks from the movie 2012? lol.
If this becomes "mainstream" enough, maybe we'll find out.....

I too am very curious of these facilities, and I am sure somebody other than some of the Chinese know what they are - intelligence knows!!!!
Thanks for this very interesting article Carrie.

I haven't a clue what it is, although I could imagine all sorts of things. But I refuse to sit in fear because that begets anger. Anger begets hate. Hate begets suffering. Something I learned from Kit's Yoda friend.

If we can see it then all the ones who can do something about it have seen it too.
