It is nice to hear about these kinds of volunteer efforts to help with our environment and teaching children how to appreciate nature in a safe and compassionate way. As long as they don't teach them how to hunt, I will be happy. Fishing is invasive enough as it is. Thanks Carrie.

the effect of getting a team of volunteers together is great!

don't get why these same people who want to pass on'nature' to their children also support hunting

Carrie, thanks for sharing this. So much good is done for the environment by sportsmen groups ( Wild Turkey Federation, Ducks Unlimited, Ruffed Grouse Society, etc) and by our militray bases across the country. We often miss these important efforts because of our distorted lenses.
