"Stand Your Ground" has become nothing more than a license to kill.

There is no such thing as stand your ground, it was made up to legalize Murder

It was indeed. Is anyone surprised the Koch brothers want a license to kill anyone they have harmed, before they get harmed by them?

Can we be so fortunate to have a hope?

Stand you ground was never used, might as well eliminate the self defense reasons.

What Obama in his inflammatory speech did not say, and should have, is that if the Stand Your Ground guy had been black, or worse a black woman, and the perp white, they would have had a lynch mob immediately. We've a long way to go in this country and the world in general.

John G.: Last year a black woman fired a couple of warning shots at a wall during a fight with her husband, against whom she had an order of protection because he had a history of beating her. She was arrested, claimed "stand your ground," and got 20 years for attempted murder.

Stand you ground is nothing more than the right of a person to NOT have to run like a scared squirrel to avoid a conflict. It is a rule AGAINST BULLIES like Trayvon Martin.

Trayvon is an embarrasment on the black community on the way ALL THE EVIDENCE SHOWS he conducted himself. His parents should not only be saddend that he is gone, but should be ashamed at the way he lived his life (high on LEAN, with a police record, and a HS drop out).
