A rainy day doesn't necessarily correspond with the weather. We could all use a pick-me-up once and a while, even when the sun is bright and shinning. If you find yourself in search of inspiration or encouragement, all you need is a stroll down memory...

I loved Dr Seuss when I was a wee one... The Cat in the Hat was the book in my day :)

The Cat in the Hat was my daughter's favorite book when younger. I had it memorized from reading it to her nightly. The Lorax is a favorite of mine, but I like them all!

I can honestly say that as an adult I have dressed as Dr. Seuss and read to children of elementary school age. It was great fun.

My boys loved Dr Seuss and read the books to their children. "No one alive who is youer than you." Thank you for the reminders.

Thanks Carrie for the wonderful walk down the Dr. Suess memory lane. I too was a great lover of his books and still enjoy them today. And Christeen, you rock.

Thank you for this; I needed it. I read this wisdom to my younger brothers and sister and to my daughter. Now at 63, the good Dr. S rings even more deeply. I first read them for the rhymes which amused and the colors which glowed off the page. Now I read them for life lessons.
