Already this year, we've seen the second-highest number of state-level abortion restrictions ever. Between fetal heartbeat bills, ambulatory surgical requirements, and mandatory ultrasounds, it's hard to keep track of the latest efforts to chip away at...

Noted and shared. This is just awful. What these people fail to understand is that they are sentencing young women to death. Roe vs Wade ended that. This ban will not stop abortions it will just promote illegal abortions that take place in dirty alleys but uneducated doctors, mid-wives, and yes even untrained nobodies. Congrats for shoving our country back to the 50's.

And it really has nothing at all to do with abortion - it's all about control - make that Control. Keeping women in their place, keeping the poor still poorer, making the old white guy the boss of it all. Them giving themselves the Power to manipulate and control others....

I believe if there has to be an abortion done it should happen immediately. 20 weeks is far too late.

Sadly, our MN Representative is Pro-Life...we had a small discussion via email, but he adamantly believes he knows more about my body than me. I will still vote him back in because he is Democrat and I won't have any GOP/TP from MN. Noted with thanks.

This kind of stuff makes my blood boil! We fought for women's rights back in the 60's! Why are they going take us back to days when all women knew what a coat hanger was for!! Un-frikkin-believable! And it's all done by old white guys who don't even know what it is like to.have carry a child that was the result of a rape!
I have no respect for men trying to tell women what they HAVE to do with their bodies! All women should have a CHOICE!!

Science is based on objective evidence. Myth is not, but it may yet contain truth, This Republican garbage does not eben quality as myth, just as BS.

Noted and shared Thanks Carrie I am pro life and don't believe in abortion there are only two ways that I do have to agree with it and that is in a case of rape or if the mother or child's life is in danger. I do feel that woman do deserve the right to their own decisions but this one I can't. There are other choices out there for people who don't want these babies, there are plenty of couples who do. A child is a gift from God and to abolish this child is going against God.

So sad that pro-lifers/republicans can get away with this rubbish at state level. Soon the USA will be reduced to SA.

Those who want to have an abortion will have one, whether the law is with them, or not. Sadly, I see us going back to the '50's, '40's, '30's, and even before that, when women would drink potions or use coat hangers to accomplish what a doctor wouldn't do. As often as not, the woman died. If she didn't, quite often she was left sterile. Whether I agree with abortion, or not, I dread going back to those days. We need to fight for a woman's right to her own medical decision, whatever that may be. Those who think they can control another person's actions are sadly mistaken. In the end, the person will do whatever they feel they need to do.
