"After the hearing Wednesday night, Marble issued a statement to insist that her comments “were not meant to be disparaging to any community. I am saddened they were taken in that regard.”

Republican politicians seem to be exceptionally good at only one thing, getting their feet into their mouths. Fried chicken causes sickle cell anemia? Who knows what she was actually trying to say, I don't think even she does. That was exceptionally rambling but I honestly don't think she was deliberately trying to create havoc, she was just not politically correct in all of what she said, and the Democrats feasted on that, and she was incredibly misinformed in some of what she said and she was just winging it in other statements. You see what you look for and if it is offense you are looking for, well, you'll find it all over every day. Not to excuse people who really do intend to offend, but not everything is worthy of going to war. Reason and common sense are rapidly losing their place in American culture and that is said by one of the most liberal people on the planet. Me. And some people should NEVER speak extemporaneously, they just aren't equipped for it, she's one of those who needs it written down in advance and to stick to her notes. It is a Mad World After All. And getting more like Wonderland by the day,.

I hope people will not judge CSU and particularly its excellent veterinarian program by this - person - just because they are in the same town.
I do think it was reasonable for Rhonda Fields to be so upset too, and I don't think she handled herself poorly. She has probably heard fried chicken jokes all her life, but you know one doesn't get used to that kind of joke, it just gets more and more offensive every time.

So black people eat more fried chicken and white Republicans have lower intelligence. Did I get that right?

After reading the entirety of his remarks, I think he's a fool.

Attractive on the outside but hard and cold on the inside, just like her name. She should have known that her remarks were offensive and her information wrong . . . but then I forgot momentarily, she's a Republicanus/Teabagger!
