The Affordable Care Act is the law of the land now. If I were the governor of a state who didn't believe in this plan and actively sought to dismantle it, there comes a time where reality hits and you have to realize it is coming whether you like it or not. He would be doing a disservice to the fine people of Texas by not taking federal money which they all chip in to.

So while he may be a hypocrit in some eyes. It is just a sensible conclusion that has to be met. Maybe he is just doing what has to be done.

As far as republican families keeping their older children on their plans. I do believe that is one aspect of this act that they all agreed on.

Be glad if you have insurance, medicaid or will get assistance.

Many will not. They are not rich. They are forgotten in this mess and being punished in the same breath by IRS taxation/penalty.

Robert, can you ever make a comment that is not rude?

People see things differently. I am not a fan of Perry's but he is making the wise choice under the circumstances at hand.

Noted. And, thanks for making me laugh out loud when I read the title of this article, Carrie....nearly choked laughing....still giggling. From the first time I saw him give some speech prior to the Rep. debates, I recognized the swagger, the ineptitude, the "cowboy-mentally" along with that practically a Dubya clone. He hasn't changed, and I guess he must think people just love that. Doesn't he "get" that so many laugh at him behind his well as to his face, I'm sure.

This hypocritic SOB is only out to find a way to line his pockets. He doesn't care about the people of Texas, especially the women.

Sheri hit the nail on the head.

LOL Mitchell....yeah...right.....all of the sudden-like.

No, Jason, they can't see outside their bubble, and by chance they do....they do NOT care.

Lois.....I am still chuckling on your observation. Actually, while Dubya was impersonating a governor, Perry had his head so far up his southern end, if Dubya....nevermind, you get the picture. So yeah, He's a Dubya wannabe. ...unfortunately, Der Fuhrer Perry actually makes Dubya look almost intelligent. That's a feat, ma peep.

This would be great for the people of Texas if the money does not get into the greedy hands!
