Fringe conservative talk show host Stan Solomon ranted this week that slain teen Trayvon Martin "deserves to be dead," and then added that gay author Dan Savage, who he called "that f*ggot," should die of "every disease known."

Just when you think they can't get any more outrageous...

Nancy, people listen to that cr*p because it reinforces their own sick views.

Unfortunately, I do know your right, but..... Hate to think I live in that world.

Read, rather than watched, a Bigot...could call him other names, but why...won't bring myself down in the gutter where he is. He's one of those that really must know he's going to be meeting that Big Bad D...Even his God could only forgive him so much.

People with serious mental illness should be treated --not given their own talk show!

I'm getting repetitive, I know, but posts like these never cease to amaze me. I'm flabbergasted every-time I see how people like Solomon can get away with abusing the first amendment by spewing such discriminatory hatred and have it broadcasted without even a slap on the wrist. Freedom of speech has become an empty shell and all people do is shrug their shoulders.
Wake up, folks, this has passed the slippery slope a long time ago.

What the hell is the matter with the people that support these stupid, bigoted assholes and do they all go to church to try and "pray" for forgiveness?

What a sorry sack of you-know-what. Anyone who disagrees with their sick views, or is in any way different, is their enemy. Beware of those who espouse "Godly" ideas with venom.

P.S. Sometimes I think we are drowning in free speech. I would rather see everyone fix their own problems without deflecting onto others. Nobody wants to be judged by a sick, sick man.

Wow, I don't know what to say about this article. This is just disgusting.

Disgusting indeed, Birgit and others, but since it is going on, I for one would rather know it exists than sweep it under the rug. And, like Donald, I'd like to know who his sponsors are. He is just begging for the Limbaugh treatment.

Can't you just imagine the volatile eruption from the right if a progressive talk show host said something like that about a fellow rightwinger who became a victim of a neighborhood watch trigger-happy zealot or wished "every disease known" on Limbaugh? They would be out in force with pitchforks and battering rams demanding he or she be arrested, deported, jailed, fired, drawn and quartered. They do have their standards -- but they only apply when someone of their own color, ethnicity, religion, economic status or political view is criticized. I've never heard of this person, but will be on alert now for any more of his babble so I can avoid like the plague any sponsor who would stoop that low.

Playing to the right-wing-nut-phony-Christian audience and who is the POS standing with him nodding his head? Only the grossly uninformed would listen to this drivel by this bigoted man spewing his hate. He should be fired but as it's a right-wing station, he'll probably get a raise.

I'm with Carlene here....who is the SOCK PUPPET standing next to the bad-mouth bigot?

This is a great example of the DOWN side of free speech. Wonder how many listeners he has? I can think of a few folks here at Care2 who probably have him on a ''pre-select'' button in their cars.

Genuinely despicable.
