Children in the Syrian province of Aleppo earlier this week suffered napalm-like burns after an incendiary agent was dropped on their school by what rebels say was a government jet. At least 10 people were killed, and dozens more were injured.

This is the kind of thing that makes me want to spit at people who go around with "Life is Good" logos on their clothes. Do they not realize that they are really NOT the only people in the world??
I don't mean to deny them the right to a good life, to thrive in their lives, but, damn it...look around you!

And, YES, Carrie, we are going to be criticized no matter how we react to this/these events. Once you draw a line in the sand, of any color, you are on the spotI had not heard about an agent orange attack until your posting, but had heard, some days ago, that the U.N. had evidence that the rebels in Syria had done the chemical attack, I guess as a manipulation, IF they did it.

I wish I knew who to believe about the attacks. I certainly put nothing past Assad, but no one knows anything for sure.

Assad needs to go, but I am not convinced it is time for the US to intervene. It seems to me the inspectors need to finish their jobs first. Remember the small vial of so called WMD Colin Powell held to convince us to attack Iraq?

I think that Mr Obama must give Mr Assad one last chance: a clear ultimatum to hand over his chemical weapons entirely within a very short period.

I think Assad has had so many warnings that he is just ignoring them and continuing to massacre his own people. Should we wait now like the world waited to see what Hitler would do next? My conscience is saying Assad needs to know the world is watching and disapproving of his atrocities!

I don't usually know all the politics surrounding stories like this but I'm not naive or stupid.

This has made mevery sick. It's more than sad. I commented in another area on this situation because I know /knew about it but not to the extreme I have read today.

This is all wrong. No wonder they are endangering themselves even more by trying to get out .
I'll stop here because i still don't know exactly everything happening but what i have read is Sick/twisted and they are very backwards with their thinking. the entire country still is. It is severely Trajic!!!!

TY for posting Carrie. I see several articles and I think noted a bunch of them. I believe some are by others who posted also and I started out in another area of C2 with this topic.

Has no one here seen/read about the cannibals eating one of their victims heart. These are the murderers that US & allies are siding with....these are the killers of Christians too. Minorities have lived in peace together (is that backward?) until Syria became the target. This atrocity was not done by Assad. That jet could have come from numerous sources i.e.Turkey etc etc. Please read up outside of MSM. I have posted many items exposing the warmongers involved in this disgusting travesty of the truth. Just one & most important of these being a saudi prince Bandar (close friend of Bush). Try Veterans Today for starters...

Man's Inhumanity towards Man. In my opinion such atrocities are hard to see and absorb because of growing up in a peace keeping country. There are so many countries with different beliefs and religions, and many have been at war for centuries, for them unfortunately there will never be such a thing as peace,
As horrific this was to watch and hear, can anyone be really sure who dropped the bomb?
