I don't know if I'm allowed to say that Rupert Murdoch is a stinking rich, greedy bastard...?

"...and that's been right across the world." If that is an accurate quote from Harper, it sounds like the rantings of a psychotic.
I do not like Murdoch, who seems to care not a whit for truth if truth will minimize his inflated income, but his other guy sounds like trouble, Australia!
Murdoch now needs to get rid of Roger Ailes!

Noted. Thanks, Carrie. I had to lol at the title of the article. I remember watching the cable shows videos of her sitting next to him at the British Parliament inquiry....pie in the face and all that stuff. Now, this is pretty funny. Had to look twice to make sure this wasn't from The Onion.
Kudos to Ros G. (above) for voting for Assange....would cast my vote there for him, too, if I lived there.

Nice to see that the evil rich one gets what he deserves. I hate seeing rich fools not using their wealth in a positive way of helping others. Thanks Carrie

Clive Palmer is an idiot - but people are actually voting for him!

On some propaganda blurb, he says his supporters will be able to make a 'conscious' vote on some issues. Wonder if their other votes will be' unconscious'!

Not so breaking news: Rupert Murdoch's team got in the LNC and Tony Abbott is our new PM..Kevin Rudd (Labor) was defeated but not in the landslide that Rupert had hoped for..Clive Palmer..may hold a seat in the Lower House and possibly two (2) in the Senate... Julie W "Clive Palmer is an idiot - but people are actually voting for him!" There is a difference between the "village idiot" and a "calculated idiot"..when Barnaby Joyce gets worried..there is a real problem..still waiting to hear if Julian Assange won a that's will be a double problem...LOL only for some..wonder what will happen to the "mad monk" now???????

Seems like Murdoch is just as egotistical as all the other greedy, they would never spend a dime for a worthy cause,,,,do they not realize that you can't take the money when you go, and that their reputations will leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth... Anytime big money is involved in politics there is never a democracy!
Thanks Carrie.

I am a little confused ... when Mr. Murdoch says "a man with a history of peddling fantasies that often morph into a unique version of ‘reality’", is he referring to Mr. Palmer or to himself?

"Murdoch’s flagship The Australian ran the story on its front page under the headline “Why we need to worry about the real Mr Palmer”, alleging he was “a man with a history of peddling fantasies that often morph into a unique version of ‘reality’”"

This from the man who owns Faux Noise, the official Republicanus/Teabagger Reich ministry of propaganda?! Murdoch knows nothing of reality!

@ Ben --- LMAO! You just did! It is the truth so don't worry about him suing you!

Thanks Joanne and Lyn...Clive Palmer has slap a lawsuit against the Australian and Murdoch..for these comments..because the newspaper was trying to discredit him and his party. Murdoch wanted a LNP to win right across the board including the Senate..Clive must have more clout than most of us expected..will be an interesting outcome......
