Does it really matter what this tiny little mind thinks?

Noted. No, I agree with AniMae, tiny minds.....I think many are getting really tired of the drivel that comes from this so-called news channel. The backlash is upon them.

FOX is full of "tiny little" minds.

What this pea brain doesn't realize is that freedom of religion ALSO means freedom FROM religion!
If she doesn't know or understand the history of this country then maybe SHE should LEAVE.

All of their minds together doesn't even qualify as a tiny mind. What an ass!

Perhaps she should consider moving somewhere into the wild and do us all a favor. But, I know, I know, it will never happen! LOL! We have something similar here in Zagreb, Croatia where a certain pea-sized brain group is doing everything in its power to stop introducing sexual education in schools. I don't have to tell that they are all religious fanatics?! Thank you Carrie, great post as all of yours always are!

They don't have to live here? I think many in this country are living in the wrong century.

I think athiests should stop proresting everything Christian, I haven't seen Christians protesting athiests. Leave Christians alone, they aren't hurting them, & they should leave us Christians alone, everyone has a right to their own beliefs, no matter what some may think. Live & let live.

I meant Christians shoudl leave athiests alone also, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.

When anyone says about any group "They should leave," that person should be required to pass a citizenship test on the spot in order to be allowd to remain.

Stardust Noel, radical right "Christians" are hurting EVERYONE. Including real Christians as well as Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Tao, Unitarians, agnostics, atheists and everyone else there is not room to mention.

As it was on faux noise I'm not surprised. The hosts (entertainers) on these shows are arrogant to a fault. Who does Perino think she is to think someone should not live here because they have a different point of view from her or anyone else for that matter? Small minds us an understatement. BTW, I did get a kick out of the guy mentioning how many times Kimberly Gilfoyle has been married. Touche'

I guess the Sioux nation wishes those who can't accept their religion should leave the country also.

I am appalled at the way the U S A, and I dare say other countries, brainwash their children with compulsory daily brainwashing that eventually is so grounded into the personality that religion and unthinking patriotism becomes impossible to allow free thought. When in the U S A I as astounded by seeing so many national flags displayed. Are you so, personally, unsure of your loyalty that you need to publicly to reinstate your allegiance?

Dear Fox News, I am not an Atheist but I do support Atheists and agree with them 100%!! I want Freedom too! It's not just the Atheists who want this! Fox you should have expected this eco of reaction, you created it. Fox News is so degrading it's like watching the Jerry Springer show and it needs to go not the Atheists.

Wow. That's really mean. People who work for Fox news really should be more careful when they talk.

I did NOT recite the "under god" in my recital anyway! Pre-1954. Maybe those that like it should leave instead. In any case, poor "separation of Church and State".

The fox presenters are so bigoted that they can not even truly value their own religious system. Telling atheists not to fuss about the word 'god' in a pledge because "t’s just like some guy’s name". So much for understanding what a pledge is about, and particularly what this Pledge of Allegiance is about.
And I certainly wouldn't want these persons explaining to the nation what their belief and their God is about: it's just like about some guy? Some representatives! LOL

Thank you Inge Bjorkman. for your kind words. ..For that misinformed, and evidently blind, Stardust Noel. Atheists in America are very definitely on the receiving end of prejudice and vilification. At the very minimum it is not just unthinkable for an atheist to be elected to high office it is virtually impossible. I am reminded of an incident, even here in a very secular Australia. Waiting at a Bus stop I was approached by an elderly Christian offering religious tracts, I politely declined saying "I am nit a believer." whereupon this person crossed himself and actually ran from my presence. I was told by the secretary of my W W 2 veterans association . ( He is a Presbyterian lay preacher) "You atheists should keep quiet and not speak out" I replied. "We will when you do." When the religious stop perpetuating their ideologies by brainwashing their children then the necessity of countering the false doctrines by showing that freedom from religion is freedom of choice and thought will also become unnecessary. We all have the right to chose our own way of life, but I venture that right is not to impose those beliefs on malleable children's it Muslim, Christian, or atheist philosophy.

I'm delighted to live in a country where these two women can go on national television and talk about their religious beliefs and their dislike of the beliefs of others. And although I'd like to give each of them a swift kick in the butt I wouldn't want them forcibly exiled just because I don't share their belief system. Nor should I have to leave the U.S. just because I'm atheist (besides which, to what country would I go where there is no religious infiltration in government? Cuba maybe?)

The "under God" phrase was only inserted in the 1950's as an "up yours" to the "godless Commies" in the USSR. I rather think it's served its purpose, such as it was.

All most atheists want is for government to remain neutral on the subject of religion. What a radical concept - neutrality.....

Take a look at what religion has done to the planet and you wonder why there are so many atheists. As for FOX, it's time to take that channel and the idiots on there off the air.

AH Alan It is in the advanced nations with a high average education standard where non belief is dominant.
In the U S A religious belief is high and it relates to the average educational level of being eighteenth amongst the advanced nations, and this is more so in the southern States where the educational standards are the lowest in the U S A.

Fox news does not deserve to be on the air. Fools who are bullies and are quiet horribly abusive should be on the public and what bothers me is they are allowed to continue. I believe that to end all forms of evil is to eliminate discrimination. Those who continue to practice this cruel and vicious belief system will only go to their usual fate, alone, sad and insane. Also they take everything and everyone with them so as a Roman Catholic (Yes I do believe in God and she loves us all, as all mothers do) so I pray once as move on as most ordinary people do. peace

Sorry this is my first time commenting. I meant not to be on the airwaves, yet I am a great fan of Voltaire and he commented this message which I do believe in 'I do not believe in what you say but I am willing to fight to the death for you to say it.' The First amendment of the constitution is the foundation of America's right of expression and if their is comedy in life it most certainly comes from strange beliefs structures. Again that is their right expression but not the right to the facts, death, taxes and impersonal statistics. - quoted from the writer of Huckelberry Finne. peace
