In 1991, a Santa Fe woman walking past Franklin Miles Park was forced into a van and brutally raped. She reported the attack to police, but they were unable to identify a suspect. Now, 22 years later, the woman was given a sense of closure in the case.

Ya, gotta love it when the past finally catches up these bastards. DNA has come a long way, and rape kits are preserved by most police departments, so those jerks are being caught. Thanks, Carrie. This might be justice delayed, but it is justice for the right creep.

Obviously this has been all over the news here. I am really pleased that this SOB was caught and that more cases are being investigated.

Great news with this new technology -there would be a lot of nervous rapists fearing a knock on the door -the low life creeps -Karma.

Got to love this new DNA technology. Now if only they could talk labs into doing DNA tests on old cases where they still have samples for men in jail...bet there will be quite a few that will come back to exonerate.
