Mr Blankfein Goldman Sachs "“There’s no precedent for a default. We’re the most important economy in the world. We’re the reserve currency of the world. Payments have to go out to people. If money doesn’t flow in, then money doesn’t flow out. So we really haven’t seen this before and I’m not anxious to be part of the process that witnesses it.”
As a Canadian I am very concerned at the cost to our economy because of the shutdown, and if this keeps up there will be an effect on the world economy. On a few posts I have seen "sit tight, this is just a scare tactic",
but I feel it is way more than that, it is downright like taking hostage of the Government of a very powerful country, Thanks Carrie.

Now that the Banksters are in on it, I guess that means they're going to threaten GOP members with no future funding for their election coffers. Let's see how the worms turn.

Only the Republicans would pull something this destructive for the nation and potentially the world. The extremists in our government have to go!

"Mr. Boehner, under pressure from Republican conservatives and outside Tea Party groups, has declined to bring a so-called clean continuing resolution to the House for a vote because it would pass mostly with Democrats’ votes and probably prompt a conservative backlash that could cost him his leadership office." Children starve without WIC and this man who claims to be a Catholic has such a selfish reason?

all sides are at fault. we have a total useless government with a president that can't lead.
all sides have refused to sit down and work things out. everybody is dug in and not moving. obama goes on the news and says i'm not talking it will be my way or highway that makes folks really want to do what he wants no way that makes folks want to do anything to piss him off so they can watch him have a tantrum.
all sides need to learn to sit down and talk not it's all my way or all your way bull.

We must remember Obama did Win the election! He cannot allow them to treat him like this! They cannot go off and make their own way!
He is the president and by him winning the election it tells us all that's what the people want!!
Majority Rules!

Yes, of course, Obama won the election but he didn't come any where near winning by a landslide and therein lies the problem....we have a divided country.

Obama has demonstrated that he has failed as a leader for the United States. He is also not interested in negotiating and yesterday he demonstrated that as well.

This is purely political for the democrats. We didn't need Obamacare in our country. We have Medicaid in place for those who cannot afford to pay for health insurance.

Obamacare was always going to be a train wreck. We have just witnessed that train wreck. right out of the gate it came off the tracks crashed and burned. Can't blame the republicans for that now can we?

Waste of time when all Obama said was that he would not negotiate! Unfortunately it is a two party system and when the two won't compromise we get what we got! Extremist supporters like the two above do not help!

Terrorist-like behavior.

And as all terrorists, they just want to be in the middle of the attention.

Thanks Carrie!

By 5 million! Our problem is you anti social, d-bags and your war on democracy. This isn't how the country used to work. Americans used to take their losses and move on. You people are stuck in your dictatorships.

Enjoy Obamacare.

Been missing me, Jason? 14 days? Nice to be important enough to be monitored LOL! There's nothing more to say about O'Care. It is disintegrated on its own. I say "let sleeping dogs lie." It's amusing to watch Obama dig himself of another deep dark hole with his jive commentary about why Obamacare tanked.

It's senseless for me to come out here and report the truth. Liberals don't want the truth. They want to blame republicans for stating the obvious. Meanwhile, the liberal lap dog media continues to believe everything this incompetent president spews. Time has a way of taking care of lack of leadership presidents. I'll sit back and watch and learn.
