Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-TX) asked the U.S. Park Service Ranger why she was keeping out most tourists from the World War II Memorial, although veterans have been permitted to go inside.

“How do you look at them and deny them access?” Neugebauer said, with an American flag tucked into his lapel pocket.Rep. How two-faced is that::::::: Cannot believe the games the Repugs are playing!!!

Apparently he hasn't learned his job yet or bothered to learn what his votes in Congress will do.

I am gritting my teeth while thinking about this. This guy has the brass to blame a park ranger for something he himself is responsible for ? Please everyone call his DC office (202) 225-4005 and let him know what you think of a creep like him, voting for the shutdown and then trying to blame an innocent ranger. He did this to try and pander to the vets who were shut out of the memorial. They need to know the truth and we need to tell Neugebauer what we think of his lies and incompetence. It's time the republicans got a dose of their own medicine. Tell him his lies won't float and we won't put up with it anymore.

Good for you Jane K. you said it perfectly so I need not repeat it. For those who would prefer to write or fax here is some additional information. I most certainly WILL be letting him know how I feel on what he did towards that Ranger who was simply doing the job he had voted on having done. Shame on him and good for Vice President Biden who called her personally to smooth it over for her a bit.

Doesn't that remind you of the abusive husband who beats his wife to a bloody pulp and then asks, "Why did you make me do it?"?

These are NOT my words (although I can't blame the author for letting off some steam). They are excerpts from an article that appeared today in The Daily Klos:

" Is there some damn law that says congressional Republicans have to be assholes? Is "not being a gigantic prick to anyone you meet" one of the now-countless things that will get you kicked out of the party? Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-TX, because of course he is), come on down. Show the little people how being a grandstanding self-important ass is done."

The article went on to state:

"Are you… are you stupid? Do you honestly think that the problem with shutting down all the quote-nonessential-unquote functions of the entire United States government is that the first Park Ranger you meet was probably in on it? She wasn't in on it! You were in the meetings where it was decided who would be in on it! You, Mr. Neugebaur, raised your stubby little hand and declared you were in on it!"

It ended with:

"Are you even paying the Park Ranger you're sneering at, while demanding she personally and for free keep a monument open that you yourself closed? What is this, an asshole boss competition? Do you realize that they in fact let the veterans in even though you closed the monument, even though they do not get to set up a little podium and hold a press conference in which they publicly masturbate over their great patriotism in doing so? Do you realize how many citizens witnessing this event were contemplating whether it would be worth jail time to just punch you?

Rep. Neugebauer protested a bit, then quickly ran off to buy himself an even bigger flag for his pocket. Good God, man, just get out. Get out of the memorial, get out of the government, get out anything that does not involve you walling yourself up in a hillside bunker. The entire Texas Republican caucus needs to throw themselves in the Potomac—the Park Service will fish each of you out again when they are good and goddamn ready."

Dumbass. If you're going to be a jackass, at least be aware of and admit to how you jackassed. Own it, don't try to cover it up by pointing the finger at some innocent soul just trying to do the job you forced them into. Coward.

What's even better is how FOX has turned it into the evil Democrats trying to keep the Vets out of the memorial. Pure madness.

He's a Repug from Texas, enough said. This just proves that it doesn't take any intelligence or compassion to be a Congress person, only money. What an idiot. He's probably lucyk he wasn't injured, let's face it, there are a lot of Americans who are extremely annoyed with Congress right now. What a jerk trying to blame Obama and Reid, look in the mirror dumb-dumb.

Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-TX)

Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-TX) should publicly apologize to the female
Park Ranger immediately for his crass remark and insensitivity.

Be sure to see the video in the "visit site" above.

The people in his district should be made aware of this crass remark and boot him out of office.

Ty, Carrie.

It was confirmed that the Obama Administration ordered the Park Service to block off the World War II memorial. Though the Obama Administration claims there aren’t any Park Service employees to “allow” people access to this open-air memorial, they ORDERED Park Service employees to barricade the memorial and deny access. Am I the only one who sees a pinnacle of irony and hypocrisy here?

Now, the Obama Administration has threatened to arrest any subsequent World War II veterans who go through the barricades to gain access to their memorial.

Jim, Carrie is just another brain dead snarky Republibot! The only proof for anything is truth and the right is immune to and never buys into facts. You've heard the old saw that "The truth has a liberal bias."
