Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell, who is running in a surprisingly close race for reelection this year, would like to overturn an EPA regulation on greenhouse gasses, despite that regulation not actually existing yet.

I can appreciate McConnell's wish to kiss up this way, in a state so involved with the coal industry, but I wonder what might benefit the country more, supporting that industry, or working to find alternatives.
How much money goes into his re-election coffers, from the Koch bros., to support their empire?
Recognizing that he is probably in a tight spot, I wonder how much coal money and politics are the same thing in Ky.

I'm sorry, but I find myself absolutely PARALYZED with laughter every time I try to focus on this article - Yes, I KNOW it is real, and that the damages done by these folks is enormous(and growing)
But the sheer lunacy is reminiscent of The Pink Panther-type of zaniness - and at its finest

Sound like McConnell is struggeling and needs something to grab hold off to keep himself in the race.
Remember this when you go to vote McConnell wants to kill a regulation that does not even exist yet!!!
Thanks Carrie.

Yet another conservative politician that is delusional (thanks to his inflated ego and sense of self-importance) and needs to be put out to pasture.

I read somewhere that Kentucky is the most backward state in the union and this senator reflects that view.

Wow, talking about showing your true colours. This desperate attempt by McConnell to stay in the seat baltantly shows that he doesn't care about anything but his political career. He doesn't care about climate change or doing anything to stop it from becoming worse, he doesn't really care about Kentucky, because stopping this rule before it is even known what the rule is going to be might well turn out disastrous for the state. Why would a nearly 72 year old millionaire who is also the longest serving U.S. Senator in Kentucky history be so worried about his political future? The fact that his wealth was estimated at $ 27.2 million in 2010 and that this wealth had increased with 786% since 2004 might give us a clue: GREED

Well, Mitch McConnell is the longest serving Republican Senator from Kentucky ever. He is also a massive tool who will do anything and violate any principle for the sake of his party. After years of kissing the butts of corporate elites, he rubbed his chin right off!. So expect him to honest about things when he was caught laughing about the plight of the unemployed in his state who are suffering and left with nothing due to benefits being cut off

Well, Mitch, Dear Boy, the people in Hell want ice water, too, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Some big bullies are falling soon ~ you might want to get yourself a big fat pillow to land on
