So let me get this straight: If you can't control 'em, kill 'em. So now doctors don't have to help women in danger just because saving them could be imagined to be--by about 10 degrees of separation--an abortion. Even if individual doctors are unethical enough to go along, the AMA can't be on board with this (literally) murderous crap.

Barry - Up here in WA, we have begun to notice that over 40% of local hospitals (including all 3 this side of Puget Sound) have been sold to HUGE Catholic-owned hospital groups - - -
Suddenly the women's health and end-of-life issues are taking on a different aspect from what we had when our (small) local hospitals were locally owned - - - -
And nobody gets to debate it before passing the law - - - -BIG issue here

Refusing to help a patient is criminal.

Noted. Thanks, Carrie. Whatever happened to the Hippocratic Oath?? Jeanne (above) made an excellent point. I've also noticed (and also have read) that Catholic Hospitals are growing. They're expanding here in Tucson, and signing up doctors to be part of their staff. My own doc just switched over to them. Now, I have to go hunting for another one.

If a woman is full term, and the baby she has carried for nine months is dead, her life must be saved. Otherwise I feel it is criminal. A woman suffers enough grief after losing a baby!!! What do male Doctors know anyway, they still can only imagine what pregnancy feels like. And this cloning BS was added for what reason????
Thanks Carrie.

There is a direct deficit in the minds of the idiots who drafted this odious law.Let us hope that it will never be implemented.
