Signed and shared the petition. One little spark of light, people are beginning to divest from Dow, Monsanto, Cargill, and all of the GMO companies. I guess no one wants to be at the heart of the coming law suits.

This paragraph sums it up for me:

2,4-D (2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid), produced by Dow Chemical, was a component of “Agent Orange,” the toxic defoliant used in Vietnam. 2,4-D and other herbicides of its class have been independently associated with deadly immune system cancers, Parkinson’s disease, endocrine disruption, and reproductive problems.

Dow Chemical is marketing 2,4-D resistant crops as a purported “solution” to weed resistance spurred by the adoption of Monsanto’s Roundup Ready --

If it kills the weeds and kills pests, it is toxic. Have we learned nothing from Rachel Carson?

Noted and absolutely signed. Do these Big Corporations think that the general public have no smarts??
Just a slight mention of Agent Orange, and everyone knows it is toxic, the same for 2,4-D, which was banned in Canada for many years, and now is back on shelves. There should be a massive lawsuit, to put these Corporations down,
Thanks Carrie.

Signed, noted and shared with others. A fight we all need to be concerned about, I do not feel this is in any way a political issue, after all everyone needs to eat untainted food.

Noted - signed-shared - Heaven above! Not just a toxic GMO, but one that will just naturally increase the use of 2, 4-D !!!!
Just in case we somehow manage to handle the warming climate and consequences, we can look forward to the incredibly persistant effects KNOWN to be caused by that - - -
