While speaking with Food Safety News, Mansour said that he's encountered deep concern from regulators in other countries about how FSMA will be implemented - especially whether it could inadvertently be used as a trade barrier.

This sort of cracked me up because we are supposed to have inspections and food safety regulation here but the high standards we used to have are not what we have today. Too many things are going on that are not safe including GMO's and they aren't doing a darn thing about it. This seems to be worse since NAFTA and all the crap from China coming in that was not allowed here before. So I wonder how good this will really work in other regions? Or will this work better or not than what we have here.
