You are more likely to get hit by lightning than you are to become rich through hard work. The system is pretty much rigged against you.

The majority of Americans are lving on the edge without liveable wages. They use credit as financial "swap space" to cover the difference between what incomes should be and what they actually are. In order to drive credit, reports are put out instilling false optimism in the economy so that people enter into credit obligations and essentially promising future earnings to the creditors, based on HOPE that their incomes will remain stable or even grow. But companies all over the USA do not extend assurances to workers of stable income and when they decide to outsource jobs most employees take the hit and default on credit obligations, which destroys them personally for factors beyond their personal control

Those Democrats that "distanced themselves" ought to be ashamed...and spanked!
"Capitalism Hits the Fan," by Richard Wolff, of M.I.T., and "Democracy for the Few," by Michael Parenti, make the case so well!
St. Ronald, so beloved of the "haves" helped accelerate the inequality, which is why he is so beloved.

He's right, of course. This is now rapidly becoming an OLIGARCHY.
