In Russell Brand's latest episode of The Trews, the British comedian attacks Sean Hannity for his hypocrisy when it comes to the subject of Israel. While most people "want peace," Hannity "wants conflict -- wants to know what things I should say to...

Brand remarks that Hannity’s not interested in learning about what would constitute progress in the Middle East, because he took a job at Fox News. here comes fox again. they are dangerous beause there are idiots that actually believe what is said there. remember when glenn beck got fired for doing a whole show dressed as a nazi. disgusting. even fox viewers disliked that so much that fox bowed to pressure and fired him. if they were not so dangerous fox would be a joke. comflict is news.

Has anyone ever seen an intelligent interviewer on Fox tv? They are as rare as hen's teeth. When you employ shite, you get shite. When I think of all the excellent and intelligent UK interviewers, I wonder how Fox tv survives. Typical dumbed down tv. The worrying thing is that this bullshit is being drip fed to regular viewers daily and they believe it.

Not the greatest fan of Russell as a comedian, but his Trews analysis of Hannity's interview tactics - or rather terrorist tactics - to get a unwilling opponent to denounce Hamas as a terrorist organisation, gets a five star rating from me.

That was actually the first I'd seen of that - though I certainly have read about it elsewhere. Regardless one's opinion of Russell, he was absolutely right and Hannity was completely out of control. Which as I understand it, is quite the norm for him. He's not interested in truth or facts, he has an agenda to push and that's that. Hardly the sort of unbiased perspective one would expect from a journalist, but then no one on Fox actually is, are they? They are zealots with a mission, not fact finders. And on that point comes the reason I don't watch that channel - ever. I'm interested in the truth, what is happening on both sides from an unbiased perspective which cannot be found on anything Rupert Murdoch owns. Fox is our version of the former Soviet Union's Pravda, it is the official party line of the right wing, completely biased and interested only in its version of events as spun out by the right wing. And so it is as valuable an actual news source as Pravda was in its day, which is to say, of no value at all.

OMG! He doesn't need guests. He could just go on talking to himself! The sad thing is the people who take his word as if it came from God. I'm glad that I don't even know what channel to turn to to get faux news.

I'd say Charlie Rose is more respectable than Hannity, wouldn't you agree?

That's how he conducts his interviews:

Hannity is sad and pathetic and in need of institutional mental health counseling for a very long time.
